Coordinate and plan engaging activities for residents Build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, and Care Partners. Maintain a professional demeanor while facilitating activities as scheduled on the calendar. Engage with residents in both small and larger group activities. Assess individual resident interests and convey them to the Activities Manager. Have a willingness to assist residents with their personal preferences for daily activities. Capable of collaborating with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement. Provide engaging and personalized one-on-one time with residents. Aide with documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by the Activities Manager. Assist in the creation of community flyers and event postings. Rally residents to activities to ensure maximum engagement. Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude while leading and assisting with activities. Ability to empathize and attend to resident concerns. May assist residents with some activities of daily living. Ability to move/lift equipment and assist residents into and out of vehicles, as well as help with ambulation. May provide some transportation using company vehicles. Have some computer literacy to assist with flyers and newsletter publication, and some graphics knowledge Safe Working Program: Report any accidents, injuries or violations of company safety rules. Meet all training requirements within the first 30 days of employment. Follow standard precautions and practice all precautionary measures related to contagious disease and infections. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for your job.
