In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and compliant installation of telecommunications equipment within AT&T central offices, adhering to the strict guidelines outlined in the AT&T TP76300 document. Overview: Location: Sacramento, CA 95823 Pay rate: $28 - $36 /hr W2 Telecommunications Technician Level 4 Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and 401k participation No VISA Sponsorship or Relocation Packages Responsibilities: Independently install, configure, and test various telecommunications equipment according to AT&T TP76300 specifications. Perform complex cable terminations and ensure proper grounding and labeling practices. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal equipment performance. Maintain meticulous documentation of all installation procedures, test results, and as-built drawings. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the central office environment. Collaborate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Stay updated on evolving AT&T standards and industry best practices. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Central Office Installation Specialist or related role. Demonstrated expertise in AT&T TP76300 procedures and specifications. Strong understanding of electrical and cabling practices, including grounding and power requirements. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
